General Preparedness/Healthy Habits Resources - Posters, Flyers, Fact Sheets, PowerPoint Presentations, Continuity of Operations/Continuity of Instruction Resources, SEMS/NIMS Resources and additional resources that have been designed help schools to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from an influenza pandemic or other public health emergency.

Disease Specific Information - Posters, Flyers, Fact Sheets, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), PowerPoint Presentations, and additional resources that have been assembled to help schools prepare for and manage the impact of a variety of disease threats. The disease information found in this folder has been generated based on assessments and recommendations from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH).

Parent/Staff Letters - Personalized parent/staff letters that have been pre-approved by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) and can be readily sent to parents/staff as a part of general preparedness planning or in light of a particular threat or incident. The letters can also be tailored to provide information about a variety of diseases.

Reporting Protocols - Reporting guidelines on when and how to report a serious disease.

Ready-To-Go Exercise - The Ready-To-Go Exercise provides exercise materials utilized during the Schools' Exercise Program, to include PowerPoint presentations, Participant Handbooks, and evaluation forms. Other tools are also included and can be used as templates to conduct follow-on exercises and seminars. It should be noted that these are the actual files used during the conduct of the exercise series. As plans, policies and procedures tend to evolve over the course of an Exercise Program or time, information contained within the presentations specifically should be verified prior to use or reference.
